Kompakt royalty and brother duo <a href="http://www.kompakt.fm/artists/voigt_voigt">Voigt &amp; Voigt</a>&nbsp;isolate the&nbsp;opening refrain of "Raw Umber / Twilight" and turn it into a sparkling, mesmeric head nodder in true Koln style. <a href="http://www.kompakt.fm/artists/john_tejada">John Tejada</a>'s recent album "<a href="http://www.kompakt.fm/releases/parabolas_dolp_cd">Parabolas</a>"&nbsp;for Kompakt was surely one of the brightest highlights in a glittering career - his contribution here is to turn "Drunken Galleon" into a&nbsp;soaring sunset anthem, while sensitively preserving the aching emotion of the original. For the 9th edition, the Cologne festival returns to its musical roots whilst laying out its future with the newly installed&nbsp;<a href="http://www.c-o-pop.de/en/booking/booking">c/o pop Booking</a> and the completely overhauled&nbsp;<a href="http://www.c-o-pop.de/en/cnb-convention/news">C'n'B Convention</a>. Right in the center of town, the festival will spread from <a href="http://www.stadtgarten.de/">Stadtgarten</a> HQ, showing up at classic venues like the legendary <a href="http://www.millowitsch.de/">Millowitsch folklore theatre</a> or the <a href="http://www.koelner-philharmonie.de/">K&ouml;lner Philharmonie</a>... a&nbsp;new venue for the C'n'B Convention 2012 comes with the main building of the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), btw. Quite an interesting selection he's got here, pitching true versatility and implementing other people's track in his sound universe as if they were his own. As a DJ and producer, Sebastian definitely sports a voice of his own, strong-willed, but subtle, personal, but approachable.</p>

Glasgow producer Sei A (now residing in London) drops some nightlife tips for webradio Pulse. For the online electronic music portal Andy Graham aka Sei A namend his favorits clubs, partys and bars of his hometown Glasgow... and he should know. He had his first release in 2003 on US dub house label Worship Recordings, marking the starting point for a highly versatile and internationally acclaimed output. (Video) <p>Together with&nbsp;<a href="http://www.discogs.com/artist/Workshop">Workshop</a>'s Stephan Abry,&nbsp;Hendrik Weber aka <a href="http://www.panthaduprince.com/">Pantha Du Prince</a> presents his new studio project "Ursprung" (engl.: source). Influenced by Krautrock, the Ambient Music of Harold Budd and early Brian Eno, classical Avantgarde and the minimalistic guitar sound of Durutti Collumn, Ursprung creates mystic Ambient fields. In advance Ursprung launches a video recorded somewhere in Northern Europe for the previous ten-minute track "Exodus Now". The selftiteld LP will be released in end of May on the Hamburg based label <a href="http://www.kompakt.fm/labels/dial">Dial</a>.</p>
